He has no backbone, and won't ever allow anyone to make a point on the same level as him, because he just goes to the opposite character.

You can laugh him off and claim he's a coward all you want, but the majority of what he does (for both parties, although obviously he's significantly left leaning) is call out politicians and the media on their bullshit. If the only network that has the balls to actually do this happens to be a comedy network, then so be it.
