it happen to be after the Cubbies had advanced to the NLCS a group of guys and I were going to go out and celebrate by smoking a couple cigars I honor of this joyous occasion. In my dorm there are 4 floors, I live on the second floor and then the 4th floor is called the "Honors floor" well the guys that I was meeting up with happen to live on the 4th floor and a crossed from there room just happened to live a fag. Not only is he openly gay but he is the president of "Pride" our straight/gay alliance here at good ole U of I. well me being the asshole I am decided to write on this fags dry erase board on the outside of his door. It already had a message written on it and it stated "I am not a republican" and the first thing that came to my mind was well no shit because your gay so I proceeded to write "I’m gay". After I had written this the statement read... "I am not a republican, i'm gay". Well this didn’t go over well with the fag himself, he decided to report it to the RA and then the RA reported it to the RHD (residents hall director). Well the first thing they did was blame it on the guys that lived across the hall. Only one of the guys that lived in that room saw me write this message and found it quite comical so he was the only person that knew about it. Well the RA approached all of the guys that lived in that room and accused them of writing it. So then they had to set up individual meetings with the RHD to plead there case that they didn’t do it. Don’t get me wrong I wasn’t trying to get these guys in trouble because they are my friends. Well they all went to there meetings and somehow my named got leaked out and the RHD was sending out a letter for me to set up a meeting to meet with her. so I went to this meeting and she was like did you do this and I wasn’t going to deny it but I could have and wouldn’t have had to worry bout anything but since I didn’t care I went ahead and admitted to the situation. She then proceeded to asked why and I told her I really didn’t know why other then the fact that he was gay. She told me that there is not to be any of this going on and I told her that it is a dry erase board you are allowed to write messages on it and that’s what I was doing, so I was doing nothing wrong. and then I told her that you don’t see me complaining because some fag is calling me a heterosexual, and she tried to tell me its not the same thing and I was like how is that different. This fag puts his daily schedule on his door and decorates it in a rainbow style so he is flaunting his gayness and deserves to be made fun of. he told the RHD that he feels threatened but yet no one has made a clear threaten statement to him other then saying he is gay. After this was all said in done the RHD decided to go ahead and put me on probation for a YEAR a fucking year so I can not go on the 4th floor of my dorm. I just think it was retard that they suspended me from the 4th floor for something that did nothing to harm anyone but yet state the fact they he is gay. The truth hurts I’m sorry. Quit being so gay bout it and live with it. He ended by saying that he didn’t have the choice of being gay he was born this way. At which point I truly wanted to kick the shit out of him but did.
If any of you are considering this school I strongly don’t recommend it, everything bout this school sucks ass and the only reason I stay is cause of all my friends and swimming

Nobody is born gay. It's a decision, and a bad one. I'm sorry to hear about your sitcheation, bert. I probably would have done the same thing. Unfortunately, even after your probation is done, I am sure that the lady will still be watching you like a hawk.

Yeah that is definitely extremely gay (no pun intended). If a guy is going to flaunt his homosexuality like that then he definitely should be able to take something as minor as that.

On another note I believe people are born gay and don't choose it, there are a few who choose to be gay but the majority are born gay.

Schroeder, let me ask you this:

When you were old enough to realize what homosexuality was, did you ever question your sexuality?

I know for a fact that I didn't. What I'm getting at, is that sexual prefence was never really a question for me. I've always been attracted to females for as long as I can remember. So how would it be any different for homosexuals? I believe that sexual orientation is not a conscious decesion; it's a matter of genetics. A person doesn't wake up one morning and think to themselves, "I want to be gay!". Although there is obviously a certain degree to which circumstances COULD affect one's sexuality, it is very plausible that many homosexuals are born that way.

To build on what you said BDH, I believe the ones that do chose to be gay, do it only for attention's sake. Weither it be because they can't get it from the oposite sex or they can't get it at all. There is definitely evidence on both sides of the table. Due to a lack of scientifically conducted experiments, I fear that the only sources I can cite are somewhat unreliable.

This article actually supports Schroeder's theory. It basically refutes all of the arguments in favor of a genetic reason for homosexuality. But it does so by knit-picking existing studies on the topic. No where do they actually conduct their own experiments. In my opinion, their criticism is is at best poorly done. This article is comparable to a court hearing where there is plenty of circumstantial evidence, but because there is no convicting evidence the defendent (people against genetic causes of homosexuality) win the case.

For the record, I do not like homosexual people. This may sound hypocritical, but it is often times not because of their sexual orientation. It is because of their ridiculous ideas, and how they act as if they are martyrs. They claim to want accpetance, but they go out of their way to prove how different they are. If something even slighty offends them, they fucking go picketing. They intentionally blow things out of proportion, which is fucking idiotic. In short, they remind me of a bunch of 5th graders crying to the recess teacher about how some kid called them a butthead. If homosexual people want respect, then they need to stop acting so damn facist.
