Well no fuckin shit! Are you serious? You mean we have another bullshit "US Report" confirming what we've all known for 2 years? Holy Fuck Batman! We better make that the top story!

"Top Stories" Like 'Bush Defends War In Iraq' and 'Saddam Told Interrogators Of Iran Fixation' and 'Car Bomb Kills 13 Near Baghdad' are really starting to piss me off. 'Cause who is compeled by these stories anymore? What jackass in the AP decided that tonight's top story should be "Iraq has no WMD"? Give this genius a raise please.

How about this. How about I'm sick and God-damn tired of seeing the same fucking shit being reported by our half-ass media, while legitimate stories such as things happening in countries that do not sell us oil are much more captivating.

Call me an asshole, but I don't care that two more soldiers died in Iraq, I don't care that Iraq definetly does not have WMD, I don't care what Bush said about Kerry today, and I definetly don't care what the 'Senate Intelligence Committee' has come up with. Fuck off.

I see it all the fucking time. While people watch the news they say, "Theyve been talking about this same crap for months," and they act like their pissed about it. I'll tell you what i'm pissed about, I'm pissed about how the media fucking controls the people and their opinion, they give the same bullshit all the time, yet people keep watching this shit. People continue to watch even though they bitch about how repetitive it is. The media keeps reporting this stuff because of ratings, thats all that drives them and I fucking hate it. I fucking hate it. I fucking hate it. I fucking hate it. If all the deusche(?) bags would just turn off their TVs then when the media starts giving us filler then they wouldn't do it anymore. The fact is, all those dumbfucker white trash bitch about how much they hate the news while they continue to watch it because in all actuality they are captivated by it as the television corporations feed them commercials. They just send fear into our homes so we consume. Consume the zit cream because you won't get the girl, consume the ball park dogs because michael jordon eats them, and buy the craziest new fashion trends, because Johnny Jewbag wheres them on the OC! yay! I went home for the weekend a couple days ago and my gramma goes, "theyve been saying this stuff all day," as i thought to myself, "change the channel you dumb bitch i hate YOU!!!!"

I'm gonna have to say I'm with THEINCREDIBLEdork on this one. I used to watch the news daily. Acutally I really liked it. I felt good knowing what was going on in the world. Felt like a good citizen (regardless of what that may or may not entail). Three months after 9/11 I just stopped watching. Since then I've discovered some things better than ABC, CBS, Fox, NBC or CSPAN. NPR is one. Others are news sites from countries around the world. They can be hard to find, but I think they're well worth the effort.

PS- I think dork is being facitious about 'the media', and that his pissedoffishness is directed toward the... 'illusion'? thereof as well, but I could be wrong.

With all do respect and no sarcasm intended. Could you please elaborate on what you mean by this statement. I'm not sure exactly what you meant, or meant by media is an illusion. I'll admit, I had to look up what facitious meant on dictionary.com where it was not listed but i'm pretty sure you meant facetious which i didn't know meant "playful or humorous."
Well if thats what you meant I can assure you, my distaste for the media corporations is real, maybe i typed "i fucking hate it" one to many times, but the media truley pisses me off sometimes, but its not that I fume about it all day long. But the way the news media works nowadays really is retarded and you might even say unethical.
