So 8 months later I am finally getting around to the whole improvement thing.
A buddy of mine and I are taking on the Body-For-Life challenge. For those of you that aren't familiar with it you can check out the eating and excercise at www.bodyforlife.com This is a very intense 12-week cycle that plans everything you do ranging from eating to cardio to lifting. Anybody that knows me knows I'm a bit of a partier. The friend that is doing this with me is even more of a partier, so we came to a conclusion that to give all that stuff up we really needed something we could fully committ and dedicate ourself too. I don't have the before pictures up yet but I'll post them shortly, I would ask for workout suggestions but it is all provided for us in the workout plan. Today is the first day we started it and I'm already craving a coke. I think the hardest part for me will be not drinking any soft-drinks or beer and only drinking water for 12 weeks. I'll let ya'll know how it goes.....wish me luck [ November 14, 2005, 02:36 PM: Message edited by: BigDongedHoe ] |

From what I've seen, if you follow it it will work. I would switch the weight training and do lower body twice a week rather than upper, but its not a make or break thing.
Edit, and since they have you do a single exercise per muscle group, don't cheat yourself and pick flys, crossovers, back extensions, tricep kickbacks, leg extensions or leg curls...just cross those off the list now. The diet looks totally reasonable. [ November 14, 2005, 07:15 PM: Message edited by: Beebs ] |
