The most engaging and convincing book I've ever read in favor for the existence of God. It's written by the genius Indian physicist Mani Lal Bhaumik.

Bhaumik was born in a small village in Tamluk, Medinipore, West Bengal India, and thrust into the vortex of the struggle for Indian independence. Education provided him a way out of poverty. He walked four miles barefoot to the nearest school, and endured famine, flood, and armed threat. Later, he received his Ph.D. in Quantum Physics in the year 1958. His thesis was on Resonant Electronic Energy Transfers, a subject he would have cause to use in his work with lasers. His work eventually led to Lasik corrective eye surgery. He became immensely rich and famous.

Always a scientist first, he explains how the latest findings in physics is providing strong evidence that there may just be a primary source for everything in the universe. It wouldn't be recognizable to most religious practitioners, as it's more Pantheistic than anything, which is pretty much what Hinduism is anyway.

I highly, highly recommend reading this book. It's completely changed my outlook on everything. I'm on my second read right now, as some of the science in it is very advanced and a real challenge to fully grasp.
