Over the past 9 months I have been a very true and loyal subject to nubblies. I have posted my thoughts and shit talks with the best of them but I must know when to call it quits. I was enjoying nubblies thoroughly back in february before the dark period started to occur around spring break time. Nubblies then starts to make a comeback and starts up again. We get a few new members (buckeye, wintergrey, st. anky, niger angelus) and anyone else who I forgot to mention. Things were going good again and nubblies was the happening thing. I liked posting then just as much as back in the period. Then to my own fault I start a "Hottest girl by grade at WCHS" which breaks all holy hell on nubblies. Which was once a quiet, civil (at times) place to discuss things turned into all hell. Nubblies was spread to everybody at school (literally everyone) and was not known as nubblies.com it was known as "that website with the hot girls at warsaw on it". The average of 4-5 new members a night and the rate of posts was to much for me. There was a time when we would make long thought out posts not ones like "fuck you, your a homo" which I think I can find somebody saying that in every single thread. While growth is good it was also good with a price. The price we pay was an influx of dumbass's (yes 70% of the new people are dumbass's). You all act like this is some place where all of us sit here and talk shit in every single thread. I suggest you go to rants or General Chat and drop your drop bar to "Show All Topics" and read some of the older posts before the dark age (Feb. 2002-Mar. 2002). You will see what nubblies is all about which is a place to discuss really anything you want. You dan make a post about life and get a serious response from people cause they realize when the right time and place is to make a shit talk post or make a serious post. You will see rants that are well thought out and jibberish posts that everyone finds funny. I don't think I could post a topic on any forum now without some new dumbass saying "BDH after that i realize your homo." In fact if I wouldn't bring this up right now I gurantee that if i never said this one of you would of said "Fuck you BDH i'm glad your gone you homo." Something to the affect of that which really only adds fuel to my fire on reasons why I'm done. The thing that pisses me off so much is that when this had the originals on here we used to talk shit about each other and make fun of each other all the time but everybody realized your doing it as a character (like myself am BDH) and that was it. It wasn't a personal attack on the person nor was it a "shit talk". I used to rail on stu pidassle all the time in here and him and I were friends IRL. It's a fucking message board where you post for fun not to get in fights. When I see people getting pissed (such as the Boyfriend Alliance) to the point that they want to get in a fight with people over stuff that is just plain stupid. No offense to you guys but you and others must realize this is just a place to post for the fun of it not to actually get in real life fights with people. Orgazmo can tell me that he fucked my mother all night long on here and I will defend it as well as I can on here as BIGDONGEDHOE but would this ever provoke me to throw punches at orgazmo in real life? Ask yourself the same question if it's really worth it to do the same over something someone said as a character on an internet message board. To the few that might care (orgazmo, stdx, johnnyrichter, ugly bastard, tonguegina, stu pidassle, buckeye, niger angelus, wintergrey, cockstarr (funny man), vitruvio, SMA, active, lethal, anky, and any other of you "true" nubblites as I like to call them) it's been fun and there have been good times but where nubblies is heading right now is not where I'm going...sorry to all.
Now you might notice where I said "sorta" at the top. For you elite members (the originals) I will continue to post in the elite forum from time to time. As more of you "true nubblites" get in we will continue to have the old nubblies in the elite forum. after reading this i feel im am one of those 70% people to blame... if it makes you feel better i am now quiting nubblies to be the first to step up for what we have done to your beautiful website. I did hear word of this site because of the hottest girls at wchs post. I felt after looking over the posts i could add to your site.. but now that i know how you and most of your elite feel about the "new members" i am going to quit just to show i feel sympathy for the few geniuses that started this site..

BDH. I firstly would like to that you for introducing me to Nubblies. The talks at that lunch table and during English class have been great. It wont exactly be that same anymore without some of your comments on here. But I suppose one of these days I will see you in the Elite Forum(Elite Members willing).
Secondly, I do agree with you on the direction Nubblies is going/has gone. The level of converstation on here has decreased. Not so much in posts as we all know, but in the quality of what is said. I know that I have contributed to this from time to time, but as you said, it was the alias I was talking to. That goes out to The Poster Formerly Known as Johhny Richter, props man, you have my respect. It was never directed to the real person. Nubblies is a Chat Forum a Web Site, not a place to make enimies, but a place to make friends. BDH, BAC... I will miss you, enjoy your break. I will see you in class man. Basically everything that you have said in this thread is 100% true...unfortunately. I really don't know what I can do to change it...to make Nubblies the nice place that it was before. It seems like the entire forum has changed from the "general chat" "reviews" and everything else to one big "shit talking central." It was destined to happen sometime... When all of the new people started joining, I thought that it would be good...because the members that would take away from the forum would stay for a few days and then leave, while the ones that would actually contribute would enjoy the company of others who actually contributed, thus making the forum stronger. Instead, the opposite has happened. The new people who continually post complete shit have pushed away the good people and, instead of having a growing solid user base, the growing shaky user base has deteriorated the loyal. I'm not saying that it is necessarily the fault of the new people. They didn't come to Nubblies hoping to find some type of profound group to which they could discuss any topic whatsoever. They (for the most part) came here to discuss different levels of hot chicks...and that's mostly my fault for letting that topic exist in the first place. Nubblies has grown out of control, as BDH stated. In the beginning it was good conversation, jibberish, and shit talking, which was, for the most part, confined to one forum. Now people are threatening to start fights and going crazy over what is practically nothing at all.
Even though loyals are dropping like flies...it doesn't have to be this way. Nubblies can still exist in the form that it did before, a form that will eventually weed out the weak and worthless and leave those who have great contributions to make. If we simply ignore the shitty posts and do our best to confine all out shit talking to the shit talking forum, where it belongs, Nubblies can live through all of this shit. It will continue to exist, but it will never be the same. What it will be is what you make it to be. Nubblies never has been anything more than what each member makes of it. It is here for you...not for Orgazmo or any other specific member, but for the user base as a whole. If you like it and want it to turn into something that can actually be useful to you, all that you need to do it make it that. If you want it to stop existing, continue to let dumbass posts control its future. One member's posts aren't going to change everything, but if we all do a little bit to change the content, Nubblies can start to shift back to the old style and, slowly but surely, regain the prestige that it once had. To the people who have joined with the intent of being dumbasses...What is your purpose? What type of fun is it to come on here and be a moron? You don't have to continue to be a moron. You can either change your posting style or get an entirely new name to start over...but staying and posting the way that you have been serves no purpose at all...for you or the other members of Nubblies. If the 50% of the 98 or so members of Nubblies would post on topics that actually mattered (as opposed to topics that consisted of "fuck you") the board would be infinitely better...but, of course, the chances of that ever happening are slim to none. All I'm asking is that we all (including myself) try to make our posts a bit more useful. I have, on quite a few occasions, been guilty of the stuff that I've described above...so I'm not better than any of the "dumbasses" that I speak of...but if we all try to weed out the shit than perhaps we can save this place. |

bdh, and ugly bastard. you guys shouldnt be forced to leave due to the sharp increase of dumbasses on nubblies. Instead i have a suggestion.
You have an elite forum for all the elites. But why limit it to just one spot. Switch it around so that only one forum is for all the dumbasses, and other people that just happen to come across the site. This way it would keep the orginal content of nubblies intact and allow the dumbasses to go on their happy way. From time to time elite members would check out that one forum for the dumbasses and have them voted into the rest of the site. I think this is the best course of action for 2 resons . 1.Only the ones that want to become elite will continue posting, the dumbasses will eventually get tired and quit posting, if the only people they have to post with is other dumbasses. 2. It preserves the orginal content of nubblies that i just got a taste of when i joined in mid-october. BDH, and UB will no longer need to retire, and nubblies, will be nubblies as usual. |

Well, I have to agree with all of you. I have been considering my retirement for awhile now. This place has changed from a place for intelligent young adults to go to and share their opinions. Now it's a place where the morons from this school are infesting. I do not feel that I will be quit as of right now. I am going to stay and hope to maybe change this back to what is was. Lately even I feel that my posts have declined in content. Maybe I'll take a break for awhile and get my shit together and come back. I don't know. It was fun guys, I'll miss yah. Niger, no hard feelings at all. I have a great deal of respect for you as well. Ugly, you were probably one of, if not the best poster I've known. It won't be the same without you. BDH, you and I have been here since the begining, we've been here for a long, long time, there definatly will be a big void without you here as well.
I still look forward to seeing your posts on the elite forum. |

Wow such an impact over such small stupid things. As of this point i really do not care if you all blame me for sundown finding out because i really don't care anymore. This is something i should have said in the first place because obviously by not having a person to blame it's turned us against eachother. Now because a certain few of us decided to act like "Morons" (me being one of them) we have ruined this perfectly good site. To all of those that have just posted their resignation from the public domain i would like to appologize for our acts of stupidity.

Completely and utterly ignoring any and all of the 'dumbasses' post will greatly increase the rate of dropout rate for dumbasses, i think. Just a friendly word of advice from the guy who never shuts up.

Yes, as I've been involved with a variety of forums over the years, I can assure you that the dumbasses will get tired in well less than a month, and much faster if we come up with some creative ways to scare them off. I've only been around for a week, but at that point, there were half as many members, and I recieved a glimpse of what this site was intended to be before the bum rush. One of the first things I did was get into a provoked fight with JR, but it was all in jest, and was clever and entertaining in comparison to the unprovoked flaming bullshit that these vapid brainless newbies are pulling. It's sad what the masses will do to a good thing. Not only am I not going to leave, I'm going to post a bit more often, and try to come up with a way to combat the assholes who are ruining everything Nubblies was intended for.
