Orgazmo Neutrality, wtf, amirite? - Nubblies.net Forums

In my 7 years as a Nubblite, I have noticed one thing in particular: Orgazmo, our leader and founder's uncanny ability to be almost entirely neutral on any given issue ever. Whether this is in the form of complete absence in certain heated threads, or tactfully written neutral responses, it is almost unfailing. The rare occasions when he does diverge from his stoicism are in very subtle and oft humorous rhetoricals.

I don't know why or how he does this. TBH, I have only really hung out with Gaz >5 times in my entire life, and all of them before I was 22. I simply don't know what the bastard is like IRL.

Gaz, is this form of posting just the way you actually are in real life, or do you view it as your responsibility as the founder of the forum? For example, on the day of the infamous April Fools Prank, I about killed myself because you seemed to exhibit disapproval at my posts. I had seen much worse from other members prior, but to hear it from you was just too much to take, mostly because of your neutrality.

The man is painfully neutral in real life as well ... trying to settle on food is a monumental task with the Orgazmo household.

I'm very neutral overall. Even if I have my own viewpoints on something, I'm normally happy to hear the other side's arguments. This can lead to a perpetual state of being "open" on many issues.

I'm happy to take a stand on anything you're curious about, though. Feel free to use this thread to get an opinion on any pressing issues that you'd like.

The same as virtually everyone else on the board, I tend to be socially liberal, fiscally conservative. Really, though, I feel like I don't know/understand enough about the financial side of things to have a devout opinion.

I think it's pretty fun. We usually have a nomination period, an elimination period, and then a voting period. It's very democratic.
